We have an exciting opportunity for an SEO Consultant to join our team in Seattle. Distilled LLC is the new wing of Distilled Ltd, which gives us a great start-up vibe but with the added security of being part of an established company with a trusted name.
The right candidate will be the rare combination of someone with fantastic communication skills and an in-depth understanding of the internet. Put another way, you will be a sociable geek.
This is the ideal position for someone to develop a career in SEO; you will be given the technical know-how and will be offering SEO consultancy and strategy to large multi-national and blue-chip clients within a small focused team. Not only does this role offer the opportunity to join the company at an exciting time, but if you’re someone who never wants to stop learning, you’ll fit right in.
You will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the search marketing industry and its culture. You will have experience in an analytical or data setting, preferably with a background in Mathematics, Computing or engineering. You will have experience working on large projects and will ideally have led a project in a commercial setting.
The right candidate will have:
- A genuine passion for the internet and online marketing
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Very strong written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, Excel and reporting skills
- A passion for the internet and its use as a marketing tool
- A real interest in Distilled and growing a role within the company

We are looking for someone with a couple of years of proven experience who wants to learn from one of the best teams around. We are willing to consider any reasonable salary request, however we are anticipating paying between $45,000 and $75,000 for this role, depending on experience.
